The compact folding M1 Pro power assisted golf trolley was the inaugural model in Motocaddy’s M-Series range. Designed with space conscious golfers in mind, it allows for ease of storage and transportation, transforming the journey to and from the golf course. The M1 Pro’s frame style and three-point folding system makes it over 40% smaller than its S-Series counterparts and other standard models.

Key features.

The M1 Pro golf trolley weighs in at just 10.5kg and when folded is not much bigger than the size of airline hand luggage. Even when folded, the 18 hole Lead-acid or 18 hole Lithium battery remains in its tray. The twin-tube frame system features an integrated accessory station, an easy-to-use handle height adjuster, plus an inbuilt device cradle to accommodate a wide range of GPS devices that can recharged via the patented USB charging port.

The ergonomic handle is designed for single-handed operation and completely eliminates accidental starts. The new 'paddle' design allows for simple control on the fairway and offers 9-speed settings with adjustable distance control. A battery and power indicator has also been integrated into the design.

When it comes to storing the M1 Pro, the quick release wheels can be taken off effortlessly. Compact enough to fit comfortably in the boot of a Mini, the trolley can be stored in its own case to keep both the car clean and the trolley in pristine condition.

Design and development.

Carrying the design language over from the S-Series, the motor within the M1 Pro has been turned 90 degrees to dramatically reduce its footprint. We then faithfully developed all the main components from pencil sketching through digital sketching and foam modelling right the way to data for manufacture.

A key aspect of the design was the CMF (Colour, Materials and Finishes) as we had to strike the right balance between it having both a sporty and professional look. When in use we wanted the golf trolley to feel like an important bit of kit for users that really exceeded their expectations.

Press and coverage.

The M1 Pro received a raft of testimonials and favourable press when launched. Today it is still gaining in popularity for being an electric golf trolley that truly exemplifies ease of storage and transportation.
